TITLE: Achievement Center Coordinator

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree; experience working with high school students preferred
  2. Special Knowledge/Skills: 
    1. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
    2. Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with adults and adolescents.
    3. Ability to work independently in solving problems.
    4. Strong organizational skill.
    5. Knowledge of basic networking concepts.
    6. Ability to communicate a big picture vision and manage details (project management skills).
    7. Knowledge of PC, iPad, and MAC Operating Systems.
    8. Knowledge of basic computer hardware.
    9. Knowledge of basic computer printing devices.
    10. Basic knowledge of the following software packages:
      1. Microsoft Office
      2. Email software
  3. Experience: Demonstrated aptitude or competence for successful fulfillment of assigned performance responsibilities.

REPORTS TO: High School Principal

JOB GOAL: To coordinate the implementation of the High School Achievement Center to support student learning, including basic troubleshooting of the technology included in the Center.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

The duties of the Achievement Center Coordinator will include but not be limited to the following:

  1. Provides basic technical support for PLATO and other Center software and associated hardware. Work with vendor to solve issues that arise regarding PLATO and schedule any necessary professional training under the terms of contract.
