In accordance with applicable Federal and/or State laws and regulations, Cape Elizabeth School Department prohibits discriminationDiscrimination against and harassment of employees, candidates for employment, students and others with rights to admission or access to school programs,employees activities or premises on the basisbecause of race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identityidentity, religion, ancestry or national origin, age, disability, or genetic information are prohibited.

The Affirmative Action OfficerOfficer/Title willIX beCoordinator appointed by the Superintendent and will beis a person with direct access to the Superintendent.
The Superintendent/AffirmativeCape ActionElizabeth OfficerSchool shallDepartment has implemented complaint procedures for resolving complaints of discrimination/harassment and sexual harassment under this policy. The Cape Elizabeth School Department provides required notices of these complaint procedures and how they can be responsibleaccessed, foras ensuringwell thatas noticethe ofCape Elizabeth School Department's compliance with Federalfederal and Statestate civil rights laws isand providedregulations to all applicants for employment, employees, students, parents and others, as appropriate.
The School Department will require all persons, agencies, vendors, contractors,parents, and other personsinterested and organizations doing business with or performing services for the school unit to subscribe to all applicable federal and state laws pertaining to contract compliance.parties.
